EMILCE GORETI FERREIRA
Born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, Emilce Goreti Ferreira has been quite a stand out recently in the San Antonio/Austin scene. Currently working with the TL Modeling agency out of Houston, Texas, Emilce's amazingly-alluring looks caught Mike Duron's eye a few months back. From her smokey brown eyes to her svelte figure, Emilce conveys a sense of the perfect combinations of the best qualities of the quintessential ingenue and the alluring sex siren.
With right around two dozen volumes of erotic fiction available at her Amazon Author Page, our Writer of the Month for May, 2016, has been working seemingly non-stop for quite a few years now. Ella Dominguez has a strong following of loyal fans, and though we've always been cautioned by the people who warned us about everything else growing up not to judge a book by its cover, in today's unbelievably-competitive market of genre fiction, publishing companies invest millions of dollars to develop artwork that is meant to convey much about the contents of the book by virtue of its appearance on a store shelf. So, let's bend that rule here for a second and consider just the titles on the covers of Ella's books.
We have "The 12 Kinks of Christmas: An Erotic Novella," "The Art of Submission," "F#ck You, Valentine," and "Hard Candy for Christmas." I can see how readers might become curious about the contents. But wait -- there's more! Ella has written a couple of very popular trilogies of books, the first being "The Art of D/s," which is actually a trilogy that Ella recently revised -- something almost never done in the world of publishing erotic fiction. The second, more-recent series is the "Continental Affair" trilogy.
Todd Bot and Venus Rain!
It didn't seem fair to award the very first distinction of Artist of the Month at MikeDuron.com to either Venus Rain or Todd Bot alone, so we've awarded the title to BOTH as a couple. Both are incredibly-skilled artists and though the style of each artist is very unique, the cross influence from each to the other is clearly evident, especially in their collaborative works, as seen in the beautiful example of their collaboration above.
While Todd Bot typically gravitates toward a larger canvas, and recently even multiple canvases, Venus's tendency has been toward smaller, yet minutely-detailed work. This is not to say that Todd's work lacks attention to detail, though. His work is characterized by clean lines and bold colors, combined with deceptively-simple compositions resulting in impressively-powerful images.
